My name is Chris Marshall. I am a web developer. By day, I work for a mid-sized trucking company on their PHP-mySQL written from scratch driver management, online application and payroll system. I am currently converting it to a Ruby on Rails project. Which is tons of fun,and also been very challenging. This is by far the biggest project I have ever worked on and will soon replace our existing windows based Trucking Management Software. I currently work as a one man team but am always looking to interact and learn from other developers.
By night, I run my own small web design company. I have designed sites for Kimberly Boutique, a small but growing upscale women's clothing store in West Hartford CT, and the booster club for the Conard High School Ice Hockey team.
I mostly enjoy Ruby and working with Ruby on Rails and I'll keep you updated on how that and other stuff goes.
